Most
MLM business opportunities promise big money in little
time with only a few hours per week invested. But at a
closer look, the amount of effort put into these programs
leaves much to be desired.
More often than not, building any real income from MLM
programs will take anywhere from 1-5 years of hard
(almost full time) work, many rejections and several
hundred presentations to make with little results. (remember,
95% of people in home based businesses hate to sell!)
MLM Compensation plans can be very complex making them
difficult to understand. There are several levels of commissions
based upon how many people in your organization, how many
levels deep or wide they go, etc.
In most cases you'll receive only 5%-10% commissions of
the total volume of your downline. So lets say you have
100 people in your organization and they each spend $60.
per month on products, your commissions would be $300
per month based upon a 5% commission not including any
sign on bonuses etc.
Subtract the $60 in products you are forced to by to stay
in the program and your left with $240 less any marketing
expenses to keep your business growing.
Also, If any of your members discontinue participation
in the program, your income is directly effected leaving
you to try to 'replace' the people who dropped out.
Most MLM programs will not pay you directly, rather you
must wait for a check from the company you are enrolled
with essentially making you an 'employee' of that company.
So why join a program where you
have to sign up hundreds of members endlessly for pennies
on the dollar?
Anyone who has tried MLM will easily and clearly see the
advantages of the Coastal Vacations 2-Up compensation

would total $100,000. Many of those sales would not
even have been made by you. They would have been

Also, you never have to worry about members 'dropping

purchased from a Coastal Vacations member is a direct
sales purchase with nothing additional to buy (unless
that individual wishes to upgrade a product, in which
case, you would earn another commission!)
Granted there are many successful individuals using MLM
programs but 95% of those enrolled will never work these
programs as a business to build your downline.
I have personally been involved in several MLM programs
with little or no results despite my desperate attempts
to succeed.
I found myself frustrated with not my own abilities, but
relying on the abilities of others
who often do not have the same skill to sell - or the
motivation to succeed.
Many of those people dropped out of my organization and
I was slowly going backwards in sales. Imagine that, going
backwards in sales? Not exactly what I had in mind so
I ultimately gave up like so many others.
